Privacy Policy
About this policy
Be Someone Sports ("we," "us," "our") respects the privacy of families who use our website, programs, and services. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect personal information about parents, guardians, and athletes — including children — across our registrations, programs, communications, payments, scheduling, rosters, athlete recognition, media coverage, and related services.
Information we collect
We collect information that you provide directly to us, such as when you create an account, register an athlete, make a purchase, or contact us for support. This may include:
- Parent or guardian name, email address, mailing address, and phone number
- Athlete first and last name, age, grade, and team placement information
- Payment information (handled by our third-party payment processors — we do not store payment card details)
- Emergency contact information, photo/media releases, and medical waiver information you choose to provide
How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- Process and fulfill registrations, orders, and team placements
- Send confirmations, schedules, season updates, and program communications
- Respond to your questions, comments, and support requests
- Operate, improve, and protect our website and services
- Run athlete recognition features such as Be Someone TV, Find My Player, stats, and event coverage
- Send marketing communications, only with your consent (you may opt out at any time)
Children's Online Privacy (COPPA)
Protecting the privacy of the very young is especially important. The Be Someone Sports website is intended for general audiences and is not directed to children under 13. By accessing the Be Someone Sports website, you represent that you are 13 years of age or older. If you are between 13–18 years of age you need permission from a parent or guardian to use our Sites and Services.
Be Someone Sports collects certain personal information about children, including their first and last names. This information is only used to place a child on a team and is only kept for as long as needed to provide the requested services. Children do not have access to make their personal information publicly available on the Be Someone Sports website. All personal information is collected from the child's parent or authorized legal guardian. By creating an account through Be Someone Sports and providing the requested personal information, the parent and/or authorized legal guardian provides verifiable parental consent to Be Someone Sports' use of the personal information.
If a parent wants to review or request deletion of the child's personal information, please contact Be Someone Sports at info@besomeonesports.com. No child's personal information is shared with any third party without parental written consent. The information collected is only maintained for a period of five (5) years, and then it is deleted from Be Someone Sports systems.
How we share information
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information with:
- Service providers who help us operate Be Someone Sports — including third-party registration, payment, scheduling, communication, media, and event-service providers — and who are bound to keep the information confidential
- Legal authorities, if required by law, court order, or in good-faith belief that disclosure is necessary to comply with legal process, enforce our Terms of Service, respond to claims, or protect the rights, property, or personal safety of Be Someone Sports, its users, or the general public
Payment information
Payment processing is handled by third-party Payment Processors that adhere to PCI-DSS standards. We do not store or collect your payment card details, do not handle any of your funds, and are not involved in payment processing between you and the Payment Processors.
Data security
We implement reasonable safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, and destruction. No method of internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices

Automated Chat Assistant
Be Someone Sports may provide an automated chat assistant on our website to help answer common questions about our programs. The assistant uses only approved Be Someone Sports content to respond and does not make decisions about refunds, rosters, discipline, safety matters, or individual athlete placement. Conversation logs may be stored temporarily for quality and safety review and are designed to be scrubbed of personally identifiable information before storage. The assistant does not sell data or share conversations with advertisers. If your question involves a specific account, child, refund, roster, medical, legal, safety, or conduct matter, the assistant will route you to our team. To avoid using the assistant, simply do not open the chat widget. To request deletion of a chat record involving you, contact us through our contact page.
Third-party websites
The Be Someone Sports website may contain links to sites and services operated by our partners, suppliers, advertisers, sponsors, licensors, and other third-party registration, payment, scheduling, communication, media, and event-service providers. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and Be Someone Sports is not responsible for their practices. Please review the privacy policy of any third-party site before sharing your information with them.
Changes to this policy
Be Someone Sports may update this Privacy Policy as programs and operations evolve. Continued use of the Be Someone Sports website following posted changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
