How do I claim my child profile?
Search your athlete name, hit Claim This Athlete, verify your email, and add a photo and short bio. Takes under two minutes — and it is always free. Once claimed, you control what shows on the profile.
What does "Verified" mean?
A verified profile means a parent or guardian has confirmed the athlete identity and approved what is shared publicly. Verified athletes get the shield badge, a downloadable player card, and the option to add their photo, bio, and milestones.
A stat looks wrong — how do I fix it?
Email info@besomeonesports.com with the player name, the game or season, and the stat you believe is incorrect. We review every report against our scorebook and update within 5 business days.
Who can see my child profile?
Public profile pages show only the name, age group, team, season stats, and any awards the player has earned. Personal information stays private. Parents can request that a profile be hidden at any time — see our Privacy Policy for full details.
Can I download or print a player card?
Yes. Every verified profile includes a downloadable player card you can save, share to social media, or print. Cards refresh automatically when stats update.
Is it really free?
Yes. Claiming a profile, verifying an athlete, downloading a player card, and tracking stats are all included with every Be Someone Sports registration — no add-ons, no upgrades, no paywall.
My athlete is younger than 13 — is that okay?
Yes. Be Someone Sports follows the Children Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Only the parent or legal guardian can create or claim a child profile, and we retain athlete information for no more than five years. See our Privacy Policy.
